And just like that, we’re in the ’20’s. Isn’t that wild?! Maybe it’s cause I’m such a history buff and hearing “in the 20’s” always meant 1920’s. Now we’re living in the 20’s. This would be the moment when Kevin would remind me that that’s just “how things work”. But REALLY. This is so crazy to me! lol!
2019 was a huge year of growth for me – personally and professionally! Kevin and I bought our first house, bought a new car and traveled to so many new places! And my blogging business grew in ways I only ever imagined. I gained about 100K of you in the last year (like WHAT – so crazy!), worked with some of my dream brands and hired on a team of two amazing women! I haven’t told you guys yet, but I hired a manager (her name is Kari!) at the end of November in addition to a great assistant, Nia. Kevin and I made the decision in the Summer (right around the time I gave myself shingles due stress, haha) that I should hire some peeps on to help lighten my work load. I absolutely LOVE my job. But as my blog grew, I found myself getting bogged down with the administrative tasks, and it was taking away from creating great content for all of you. Not to mention, I wasn’t getting much sleep or getting out of the house – haha!
Early in December, I mentioned that I took a few days off to unplug and felt like those days really got me back to ME. Well those days also showed me some bigger picture ideas of where I wanted to take the blog in 2020. More to come on all of this in a goal setting post next week but for now know that I’m more excited than I’ve ever been for what’s coming to the blog in 2020, and I’m confident we’re heading into the year with the best team of women possible!
