ICYMI, I found so many goodies at Target that I shared in Instagram stories on Sunday. The videos are all saved to my “Target” highlight on my Instagram. I’m including all outfits below with sizing deets for easy shopping! FYI – everything is under $30!

Fall Boots: How to Stay on Trend & in Budget

Popular Blogger Lauren Meyer of The Lo Meyer Blog shares Fall Boots: How to Stay on Trend & in Budget

Is it just me, or are boots one of the best parts of Fall? Sure, the beautifully changing leaves, fall scented candles and family holidays are great. But, the shoes. 😋

I have a hard time not spending copious amounts of money on shoes this time of year (sorry Kevin!). Every pair just seems necessary! And, there are so many styles nowadays it’s hard to narrow down exactly which ones you need! But, I’m here to help!

Today, I’ve rounded up a TON of great Fall boots and booties at various price points so there’s something for everyone! Just a warning, from sock booties, to knee highs to over the knee boots – you’re likely not going to leave this post empty handed. 😉

First, let’s talk about some trends to watch for and some good go-to retailers for your next pair of boots! According to the Fashion Bible (AKA Vogue), some key boot trends to watch for this fall are western boots, knee highs (like I’m wearing here), block heels, kitten heels, combat boots, animal prints, and the 80’s vibe (think sock boots with skinny heels). Of all these trends, knee highs, block heels and combat boots are likely to be the longest lasting because they’ve already been around for years. And, they’re simply more practical. As much as I love the leopard bootie trend, it doesn’t go with everything like a good camel colored bootie would. But, don’t get me wrong, I’ll likely be picking these up before the month is over – LOL.

In terms of retailers, I shop at three different retailers depending on how much I’m looking to spend. I typically go to Target if I’m looking to try a trend but stay on a tight budget. For example, I picked up these sock booties (a la the 80’s vibe) from Target a few weeks ago. They’re right over $35 so it’s a good way for me to try the trend without breaking the bank! I typically go to DSW or Nordstrom if I’m looking to spend a bit more on great quality shoes. As I’ve said before, bags and shoes are something I am always willing to spend a bit more on because I expect them to last multiple years.

Below, I’ve broken down my top Fall boot & bootie choices by price – under $50, under $100 & above $100. To see the price for a certain item, simply hover over the image. To shop it, click on the image!

5 Favorite Flats for Fall Under $50

popular style blogger Lauren Meyer of The Lo Meyer Blog shares 5 Favorite Flats for Fall under $50

Today’s post brought to you by someone who is very tired of the heat and ready for cooler temps 😏. Have I mentioned before how much I live for Fall fashion? Sorry in advance, this won’t be the last time I say it! 😋

When I was a corporate gal, I wore a lot of flats in the Fall and Spring. They’re the perfect transition shoe and easy to throw on and go! Because they come in so many styles and colors, you can easily make them the focal point of your outfit or just the finishing touch. But, if you’re like me, finding comfy and affordable flats is a challenge. I used to be the girl who walked around with a box of bandaids for the first week after buying a new pair of flats. For some reason, this style just rubs more than others!

But, after years of being a shoe addict, I’ve been able to narrow down my buying to a few particular retailers that provide both budget-friendly and comfortable options! So, when in the market for new flats (or really any shoes), I head to this retailer or this one. They always keep me on budget and have an endless amount of styles. Today, I’m sharing 5 of my favorite flats for Fall under $50!

And, before we begin, if you’re a blister-prone shoe-lover like yours truly, I highly suggest using this balm on any areas that rub. I got this right before our wedding and have been using the same stick for over 2 years! I no longer need to carry bandaids with any new shoes and it even helps if you’ve already developed blisters. This balm also saved the day when my cousin got married in May, and her shoes started to rub. I lent it to her, and she went as far as to mention it in her thank you card, so you know it’s good stuff!

Fave Find: My favorite find is hands down these flats from Target. They are a great dupe for the black ones you all see me wear constantly that are $60. With over 100 positive reviews, you know they have to be good! I have the tan ones in my cart and plan to pick them up instead of the nude version of the ones I already have! This style is so classic and perfect for work or wearing out. They come in 5 different colors so you’re sure to find something that fits your style!

Which pair is your favorite?

10+ Must Have Sandals for Spring under $100!

Fashion Blogger Lauren Meyer of The Lo Meyer Blog shares 10+ Must Have Sandals for Spring Under $100

Happy Monday everyone!

It’s officially Spring in Minnesota! 60’s+ and sunny (with minimal rain) from here on out! Apparently Mother Nature finally heard that it’s almost May so she decided to stop the snow and bring out the sunshine! With that comes tank tops, shorts and sandals!

In an Instagram poll last week, I asked what you all would want to read first – a post on Spring jackets or sandals. It was almost evenly split! Clearly we’re all excited for every aspect of warmer weather!

On Friday, I rounded up a ton of Spring jackets. So, for today’s post, I’m rounding up 10+ MUST HAVE spring sandals all under $100!

I put my favorites together on the collage below but included a lot more in the “shop the post” widgets at the top and bottom of the page! Click each image in the widget or collage below to be taken directly to the product’s page!

PS – DSW is having a major sale and, naturally, a lot of the selections below are  from there! Use code “Sunshine” for $10 off your purchase!

For Spring & Summer 2018, I’m really loving wedges and espadrilles. These were trending last year and will continue to be popular this year! I recently ordered these ones that are currently on sale for $69.99 with code “Sunshine”. They come in 5 colors, I ordered the white (I’m sure this isn’t a surprise!). But, they also come in a really pretty blush and grey color! I also still own these Steve Madden’s from last year that are on sale + an additional $10 off with the same code! These are very similar to the Steve Madden’s I own, but the heel is much shorter in case you’re looking for that!

Flat backless sandals are also very on trend this year. I’ve talked a lot about these ones in my Sanibel post and on the ‘gram before (currently on sale for $15!). But these ones also have good reviews, come in a few different colors & are on sale! I’m also likely going to grab these designer dupes in the next month or so because they look so chic and comfy!

Lastly, little details are another thing to watch out for. Studs, bows and scalloped edges make a shoe stand out from the crowd. I absolutely love these flat sandals by sole society & these espadrilles from DSW!

What trends are you loving this year?

xoxo
