Happy Friday Eve friends! I know we all love a good deal around here, so I was really excited to find a few of my favorite designer pieces majorly marked down on eBay! Whether you’re looking for a a good deal on a designer product or just want to pay less on something from your favorite brand, you’re sure to find it on eBay! They even have home finds too. So you can literally do all of your shopping in one place while saving a ton of money!
I’ll be honest, I had always heard that you could score some major deals on designer (and non-designer) goods on eBay. But the thought of finding those deals always intimidated me! That is, until I became an eBay seller about a year ago and figured out the ins and outs of the biz. I’m hoping this post can be somewhat of a guide for you all to find the designer items on your wishlist for a fraction of the price. And, most importantly, feel confident in your purchase!
When I go to find a particular item on eBay, I always start with the brand name, item description, and size in the search bar. This will help narrow down your search options (did you know eBay has over a billion listings). For example, for today’s jacket, I searched “Blank NYC Suede Moto Jacket S.” Next, I go to the search filters on the left side and select items that are “New With Tags.” This is a personal preference to have only items that are new. You also may see this abbreviated as “NWT (new with tags)” in the item’s listing.
From there, I start to browse listings! You can select to “place a bid” on a listing and compete to outbid others to get the item. Or, “buy it now” to get the item immediately. Personally, because I’m impatient, I typically elect to “buy it now.” And, honestly, a majority of items nowadays are eligible to buy now!
There are a few exceptions to the search rules listed above – if you’re looking for shoes you can elect to have them new with or without the box. And, if you’re searching for a designer bag, always elect to have the authenticity verified. This means that a team of experts have verified that the designer bag is authentic and not a counterfeit. And, if you have doubts, experts will re-review the bag upon its return. If it’s found to be inauthentic you will get a full refund. This is all very important if you’re dropping a quick $1K on a bag!
