Happy Weekend Everyone!

For today’s post I’m addressing a question I’ve gotten more and more lately – how to shop my posts. As most of you know, a majority of what I post is casual, chic outfits that are under $75-100. These are outfits that most people can afford so I want to ensure everyone who wants to can find what they’re looking for!

Also, THANK YOU!! I am SO THANKFUL for all of your support! The fact that many of you have reached out to me recently asking how to shop my posts means so much to me! If you do wish to continue supporting this blog, please try to shop through my links! More on this below!

I wrote a post about this last Fall. But, at that time, my following and readership was much smaller and I was much newer to rewardStyle/ They’ve also somewhat changed their processes since then so I think a refresh is in order (here here!)

What is RewardStyle is an affiliate network that connects retailers with influencers/bloggers through a shoppable platform called When a reader or follower purchases a product through one of my affiliate links, I make a small commission from the purchase. This is similar to what a store clerk would make should they sell you something in store. This DOES NOT cost you anything additional. It’s essentially giving me a small amount of credit for referring you to the retailer.

Now say you go to the retailer’s page after looking at a particular product only to find they don’t have your size. Instead, you shop around and buy a few other items from the same retailer. I still get credit for any purchases you make on that retailer’s page because I was the ultimate reason you went to them in the first place (pretty cool huh?!). This is something I’ve failed to mention to most people in the past. But, I think it’s something that’s a pretty big deal!

For a while, I’ve had a list of retailers I frequently visit on my blog’s sidebar. But, I realized that this sometimes gets buried and goes unnoticed. So, I’ve created a separate “Where I Shop” page (located in the top bar) so you can easily check out all of my recommended retailers. The easiest way to give me credit for anything you buy is to head to this page  before you go to a retailer and click through from my blog. This will let the retailer know you’re using one of my links and automatically gives me credit! A girlfriend of mine mentioned she’d just go to my blog and always use these links on this page to purchase items in the future now that she knows I get credit for anything bought on the retailer’s page during her session (love my friends!). I know this is something my mom tries to do (gotta love moms right?!). So hopefully this makes it easier for you to give me credit by just heading to the “Where I Shop” page before you indulge in some online shopping 😉

Also important, if you see me post about a black sweater on your phone and go to your computer, go directly to the retailer’s site without using one of my links I will not get credit for the sale. Similarly, if you purchase something in store, I will not get the credit because the retailer has no way to track it back to me. So, to give me credit, you always have to purchase through one of my links!

Now this small commission I make is part of how I keep this blog running. Although it can seem pretty easy, blogging takes a lot of work! In addition to hard work, it also costs money! There are many monthly expenses that go into keeping the site up (like domain fees, security, technical costs). Even the pop-up to subscribe is an expense. So although I’d love to say you’re simply funding my shopping habit, you’re really helping me keep this thing up and running so I can keep inspiring all of you! That being said, if you do support the blog, follow me on social media or engage with me in any way on a regular basis, please try to shop through my links whenever possible. Again, it doesn’t cost you a dime and helps us all in the end!

How to shop my posts:

  1. Download the FREE app (available for both iPhone and Android!) or sign up online HERE
    1. Follow me in the app – my outfits will then instantly be available to you along with content I post exclusively to the app (sale items, try-ons etc).
  2. From the blog:
    1. Head to my “Shop” Tab in the top bar. From there you can go to shopping outfits from my Instagram or Instagram Stories. You can also shop my product recommendations for Spring, Items Under $50 and Under $100.
    2. Head to the “Where I Shop” tab before heading to your favorite retailer so anything you buy from their site will give me credit!
    3. Click any product link within a post (i.e. “Sweater” “Jeans”); on a collage like in this post; on a product image like the dresses in this post; or on the “SHOP the POST” widget at the bottom of any post (example in this post)
  3. On Instagram:
    1. After downloading the App and following me, you will then be able to “like” or “screenshot” any of my posts where you see the hashtag “liketkit” in the caption and all of my outfit details will be sent to your email or the app within 5 minutes (you have the option to opt out of emails if you prefer!)
    2. You can also always message me on Instagram or email ( and I can send you direct links to the products I’m wearing.

I’ve included some helpful how to videos below!

A word on what I link – I will always link the EXACT product I’m wearing as well as any bags, jewelry or makeup. If the product is sold out, I will link a close match from a retailer I personally buy from or have tried on in the past. I will never promote a product I wouldn’t personally buy. And, I will always try to get near the original price point of the product I’m wearing (or cheaper!)

Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU!! for all of your support of this blog! If you ever have blog post ideas or comments, please always feel free to email me!

Also – You may notice this blog post is being published on a Saturday v. Friday. If you watched my stories last night, you know I’ve been a little crazy since getting back from my vacation! I’ve been publishing at more random times on M-W-F instead of the typical 8-9AM CST. I’m prepping posts for next week so I can get back on track to publishing on time for you all! SO sorry for the confusion!
