8+ Jackets You Need for Spring 2018!

Fashion Blogger Lauren Meyer of The Lo Meyer Blog shares 8+ Jackets You Need for Spring 2018 | Jackets for Spring 2018

I love Spring & Fall because jackets are less a necessity and more an accessory. Of course, I always treat my jackets like an accessory. I’ve been known to layer this jacket under a winter coat on multiple occasions, BUT I understand that’s not typical!

For today’s post, I’ve rounded up a ton of great spring jackets that are sure to be closet staples for years to come! Most of these are styles I own and you’ve probably seen in photos! I tried to keep most of these under $100 (and a ton are under $50). For those over $100, I’ve included more budget-friendly options. There’s also quite a few jackets that come in both regular and petite sizes (wooot!!). I’m detailing my top three picks below in case you’re having trouble deciding!

You can click each image below, or the corresponding number, to be taken to the product’s page!

Trench Coat

Every woman should own a trench coat. This is such a classic style that’s easy to dress up or down. Investing in a nice trench coat now is well worth it because you’re sure to wear it for years to come! I found this one on sale for UNDER $50. This one is just over $100 but has great reviews and comes in so many gorgeous colors! This one comes in petite!

I’ve styled my tench coat over simple jeans and a cardigan as well as over a dress. The style is simple and classic enough to go with pretty much any outfit!

Moto Jacket

I feel like I don’t even need to go into this, we all know my love for this jacket! It comes in multiple styles like this one I own as well as this one that has a removable belt. This jacket is truly an accessory as well as a jacket. It’s one I frequently wear out for date nights or nights out with the girls! I also regularly layered it under my winter jacket this winter (that’s dedication). For this brand, I sized up to a Small. Moto jackets are a closet staple for me, I’ve had one in my closet for the last 5 years or so and don’t see the style going anywhere, anytime soon!

Moto jackets look great with dresses, skirts and jeans (for ideas check out this post, or this one)! They’re very versatile and make any casual outfit look chic! If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, this one is under $60 and regularly goes on sale. However, keep in mind, sometimes paying a bit more up front can save money in the end given the BlankNYC moto jacket will last years given it’s such great quality! Just my two cents!

Denim Jacket

Denim jackets are another type of jacket you can use for warmth and as an accessory. They’re very casual so perfect for wearing on a daily basis. Also, since denim on denim is back in style, you can wear your denim jacket with pretty much anything in your closet! It also looks great with white jeans or shorts for a summer look. This one as well as this one are both on sale and under $100 (for the second use code “FRIENDS”)! This style also comes in regular and petite!

What are you guys up to this weekend? Today, I spent the afternoon at Von Maur at Eden Prairie Center hosting a trunk show with Hammitt. It was so fun and such an amazing opportunity to meet the designer and founder! Tonight, Kev & I opted for a date night in! We’re trying Uber Eats, have you tried it? Tomorrow we’re doing a shoot for the blog and brewery hopping with some friends.

Don’t forget that the Sephora VIB sale opens to ALL beauty insiders today through Monday 4/23!! Be sure to sign up for their emails if you haven’t already so you can grab the code to get 10% off sitewide! If you want to know what to buy, read my post here!

Happy Friday everyone!
