What a time to be alive, huh? I think it’s safe to say that a year ago, none of us would have expected me to be rounding up face masks for a blog post, haha! But, here we are!
Times are changing folks, and we can all do our part to protect ourselves, our loved ones and neighbors! Wearing a mask is sooooooo easy. Literally takes no effort on your part and can help protect you from illness + more importantly, protects other innocent people around you from getting sick.
Fun fact, one of my best friends was diagnosed with Covid last week. She had virtually no symptoms and only got tested because she was in contact with a person who tested positive. She’s now isolating & doing well, no worries! BUT the takeaway is that being asymptomatic is a very real thing. You may not feel sick, but what if you unknowingly pass it on to your elderly relatives, young ones or a friend who has an underlying condition? I don’t think I could live with myself if I did pass it on and something were to happen to those I love.
Hence, the need for face masks! Remember this a public health crisis recognized around the world. Not a political debate. If your doctor told you to use an antibiotic to stop an infection, wouldn’t you? Let’s listen to them now and wear our masks!
